Apostle A. Juanita Armour

Apostle A. Juanita Armour

Apostle Juanita Armour is a graduate of the Newark School Systems.  She has received a Diploma as an Executive Secretary, certification in Medical Office Skills, State certified Coding Associate, Bachelor’s Degree in Coding and many certifications throughout her 4 years in Eastern Bible Institute of Irvington, NJ.  She is the mother of three and the grandmother of three.

Apostle Armour acknowledged the call on her life in July 1993.  Her Pastor, the late Bishop L.R. Williams, scheduled her initial sermon for August 1993.  Since that time she has Ministered to many via Youth Workshops, Women’s Conferences, etc.  She served her leader faithfully while attending Zion Holy Church.  In 1995 Elder Armour moved her membership to the Mt. Zion Full Gospel Church in Paterson, New Jersey under the leadership of Elder Melynn Murphy.  There she served on the Ministerial staff, as well as, Director of the Young Adult Choir.  Because this church had a great Ministry to the AIDS population in that city, it lead Elder Armour to incorporate her love for music with outreach  by putting on a Musical wherein 50% of the proceeds went to AIDS.  Out of this event came the group EXALTED, a group started by Evangelist Juanita Armour through the inspiration of God. It started out as a Mass Choir and from this choir she asked a select few from various churches to continue on in Ministry.  By the time the Lord was finished with us, the group consisted of 4 members and a band.  The Lord blessed us to release our first “CD” project entitled “Be Exalted”.  We have shared what the Lord has given unto us at Community Functions wherein we received a Resolution from the City of Newark, we minister at Weddings, Funerals, Prison/Outreach Ministries and more.  Since that time God has blessed us to open up for such Artists as Vickie Winans, The Williams Brothers & the E.T. Byrd Ensemble.  She has recorded with Anthony Booker & Praise Power in Trenton, NJ & Rev.Timothy Wright, Bishop Buster Simmons & Disciples of Truth.  She has sung with The Alvin Darling Singers, Donald Malloy, The Praise Fest 2000 Choir, Albertina Walker and more.      We realize that it is of no goodness of our own but the grace of God that has allowed us to become who we are today – God’s anointed vessels.  I also count it not robbery to mention that my children are a great asset to this Ministry that God has placed within me.  I Praise Him for this everyday!

Shortly after this Apostle Armour began to seek God for direction.  She felt her work was done at this church but did not want to move hastily.  After a lengthy conversation with her Pastor, she decided to move on.   In August of 2000, Apostle Armour joined New Life Multi-Cultural Christian Center in Newark under the leadership of Bishop Roxanne Barnes.  She served her leaders and the church faithfully.  Before leaving she had been elevated to the Asst. Youth Pastor and started a Dance Ministry. God began to deliver in many areas of her life.  Knowing that Pastoring would be her next place in God.  Apostle Armour began to run.  She was unable to be happy in any one place for long.  In January 2003 she then joined the Clear View Baptist Church in Newark under “Watch-Care” through the leadership of Pastor Eric Beckham where she joined the Evangelism team and became the Directress for the Inspirational and Celestial choirs.  She finally realized that building everyone else up and still not doing what God called her to do would only cause those Ministries failure.  In November 2003 Apostle Armour was Ordained as an Elder and appointed to the Apostolic Rank of Pastor by Bishop A. Ralph Johnson of the Ebenezer World-Wide Ministries, Inc. In June 2004 Resurrection Outreach Ministries, Inc held its first service.  Apostle Armour was installed as Pastor in July 2004 where she continues to serve the people and participate in the Dance Ministry.  She continues to help many churches in the New York/New Jersey area initiate and/or revive their Dance Ministries.  In February, 2004 the Gospel Café’ & Musical S.H.E.D was opened and continues to serve as a source of Outreach & Fellowship to young people.

On September 15, 2007, Apostle Armour was consecrated into the office of Overseer  where she also serves as the National Director of Youth Affairs for Changed Lives Ministries Worldwide under the leadership of Chief Apostle Ken Moses. First Youth Conference took place in March, 2009.

Her promotion as an Apostle was affirmed on April 9th, 2011.  In October 2011 she launched Resurrection Worldwide Fellowship of Churches and Ministries.
